Shakti Primary School is established in 1993 by local
community at Mechchhe Village Development Committe,
ward number - 5, Kavrepalanchok district. It les 80
Kilometers East of Kathmandu valley. Though Mechchhe
is quite near from the capital city the people of this
area don't have proper educational oppertunities due
to its geographical situation. The different communities
of Mechchhe and surrounding areas are hoping better
education for their children but the available resources
are not sufficient for the school.
The
Government has provided only two primary teachers
but there are four more teachers are working at the
moment with the effort of Himalayan Offroad team -
Haastrup
family,
Aalborg trveling Klup and Bitsch
family
are donating certain amount of money for the two teacher's
salary to improve the children's language skill especially
in English, health and hygiene education. Temporarily
two of the teachers are employed by Save the children
Norway.
We are hoping to develope the basic physical infrastructur
of the school so that we will shall be able to start
the technical education like computer classes which
is the basic requirement for the modern education.
